Amber Stead joined Briotix Health in 2019 and oversees all aspects of the company’s finances, including development and management of budgets, financial reporting and analysis, day-to-day operational oversight, and financial system infrastructure improvement.  Specializing in the complex and highly-regulated healthcare sector throughout her career, she brings a wealth of financial management experience in the private, public and nonprofit sectors, with a focus on developing policies and procedures to improve performance and productivity.  Amber has a strong technical background, coupled with an innate ability to build lasting and meaningful relationships with teams, stakeholders, and clients alike.  Amber brings a unique skill set from past experiences dealing with mergers and acquisitions, software assessments and implementations, goal-setting and sustainability, auditing and leadership development.

Before joining Briotix Health, Amber most recently served as the Controller for a multi-state healthcare company with nine entities under varying ownership structures, including Denver’s largest radiology practice and prominent system  of outpatient imaging clinics.  Amber also served as the Director of Finance and Operations at a nonprofit organization focused on child advocacy and mental health.  Amber began her career as an auditor with one of Denver’s largest public accounting firms, EKS&H LLLP (now Plante Moran). 

Amber holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado and is a Certified Public Accountant (CO).  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts, the Colorado Society of CPAs, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
