James role with Paradigm includes national business and product development, including the delivery of ground breaking managed care services. James is a former CPA and seasoned insurance industry executive with over 20 years’ experience with responsibilities including senior leadership, operations, claims management, risk management, brokerage, quality best practice development, organizational workflows, product development and business development and sales. James’ prior experience includes a senior level audit and tax role with Arthur Andersen & Company. James started in the insurance industry as a trainee adjuster and advanced into roles of Senior Claims Adjuster, Claims Supervisor, Claims Manager and Senior Account Executive. James created and built G.E. Young & Company, a highly successful property and casualty TPA with a reputation as a leader in client intimate service. James served as the CEO of G.E. Young & Company from 1997 through 2006. After G.E. Young & Company was acquired by CCMSI in 2006 James assumed the role of Vice President of Sales and Senior Client Executive and was responsible for exponential revenue and profit growth. James served as a Senior Vice President with Beecher Carlson prior to joining Paradigm. James Young graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Business Administration. He is a member of numerous national and local insurance and claims organizations RIMS, PRIMA, and State Self‐Insured Associations. James has presented at numerous insurance and claims conferences and seminars. James is actively involved in the community including a board position with the Tennyson Center for Children. He has also served on the board of many organizations including his service as the President of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization.
