JULIE LANDIS
Vice President of Business Development

Dr. Landis is a certified ergonomist and board certified and licensed Physical Therapist (Maryland and Virginia). She has worked for over twenty-seven years helping patients, workers, employers, and business partners optimize health and wellness outcomes by both treating injuries and providing preventative musculoskeletal wellness and ergonomic risk reduction services. Her clinical experience includes both in-patient and out-patient PT treatment with an emphasis on orthopedics and sports medicine. Clinical special interests include a McKenzie based approach to spinal diagnosis and treatment as well as foot biomechanics and orthotic fabrication.
From 2001-2015 Julie founded and managed Ergo Concepts, and national ergonomics consulting firm, which merged with Briotix in 2015. In her role as Vice President of Business Development she leads the Briotix Health sales team of Solutions Advisors in supporting clients though the Briotix Health broad and effective service pillars: Office Health and Ergonomics, Specialized Solutions, BTE Employment Testing, and Industrial Sports Medicine. In this capacity she interacts with stakeholders from all industries and business units including health and wellness, HR/benefits, safety, risk management, human resources, facilities, and occupational health.
At her core, she enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, and helping clients resolve work challenges while simultaneously driving value and return on investment. Her memberships include: The American Physical Therapy Association (Orthopedic Section and the Occupational Special Interest Group); and DC Metro chapters of: The Association of Occupational Health Nurses; The Risk Management Society; The American Society of Safety Professionals; and The International Association of Facilities Mangers. Julie earned her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Temple University, a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from James Madison University.
She is a native of Washington DC, where she, her husband, and Jack Russel pup split time between the city and the Chesapeak Bay. Julie is a history buff who loves reading, fine art, music, and hiking. She is also the proud mom of three young adults.
