The provider gave me some stretching and self-care ideas to help with the trigger finger. She walked me through the stretches. This solved the problem. I saved time off work, saved money from the doctor, and was educated on how to prevent this in the future. Having a trainer on site saved both me and the company financial resources and kept me in a healthy and safe condition.” – Jessica T., Employee of a Utility Client Our Reach Briotix Health has an extensive nationwide provider network of onsite providers who are subject-matter experts in body mechanics and injury risk reduction. Contact us to customize a solution for your workforce health needs FAQs 1. What results does the Industrial Sports Medicine™ program deliver, and how are outcomes reported? Clients who implement Briotix Health’s Industrial Sports Medicine™ (ISM) solution can expect measurable reductions in workplace injuries and associated costs. Results have shown to include up to a 95% decrease in medical expenses, 75% fewer medical referrals, and significant reductions in lost-time injuries. These outcomes stem from our proactive, preventive approach to managing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Reporting is delivered through our proprietary ISM Administrative Portal, a real-time dashboard that breaks down KPIs, utilization data, workers’ compensation trends, and program performance metrics—empowering safety and HR teams with accurate, actionable insights. 2. How does Briotix Health communicate with client teams and employees? Effective communication is core to Briotix Health’s success in injury prevention. Our onsite Industrial Sports Medicine Professionals (ISMPs) are highly engaged, averaging 3.3 direct employee interactions per hour, addressing concerns before they escalate. They participate in team huddles, support supervisors, and help create a safety-first culture. To maintain visibility and alignment across the organization, we provide access to our cloud-based ISM Administrative Portal, which gives authorized users real-time updates on injury trends, KPIs, and program metrics—helping all stakeholders stay informed and aligned. 3. How does Briotix Health ensure OSHA compliance in its Industrial Sports Medicine program? Briotix Health’s ISM program is built to maintain full compliance with OSHA 1904.7 General Recording Criteria. Our ISMPs, typically licensed athletic trainers, deliver only OSHA-defined first aid, such as ice/heat application, massage, non-rigid support, and over-the-counter medication guidance. This approach allows us to address discomfort early—without creating recordable injuries. When cases exceed first aid scope, providers escalate appropriately, maintaining regulatory integrity. Backed by 25+ years of experience and a 100% OSHA compliance rate, our program is legally vetted, strategically designed, and trusted by employers nationwide. 4. How does Briotix Health support multiple shifts with injury prevention coverage? We offer flexible coverage models to ensure every shift has access to Industrial Sports Medicine support. Split-shift coverage ensures ISMP presence across all major work periods. PRO Connect, our virtual care platform, gives employees 24/7 access to occupational health professionals. Digital tools offer remote access to stretch coaching, training, discomfort reporting, and assessments via any device. This multi-layered approach ensures consistent, round-the-clock injury prevention and early intervention—regardless of shift, time, or location. 5. How does Briotix Health recruit and retain top Industrial Sports Medicine providers? We carefully select, train, and support our providers to ensure long-term client success. Only 1 in 4 applicants passes our rigorous hiring process, and we match providers based on company culture and job site needs. Our ISMPs average 11+ years of experience, and 72% hold advanced degrees or certifications in relevant fields like physical therapy or athletic training. We continue to invest in their development with proprietary training, wellness benefits, mentorship, and clear career advancement pathways—promoting nearly 10% of our full-time staff annually. 6. How does Briotix Health ensure employees receive top-level support? Every Briotix Health provider is backed by a multi-tiered support structure. That includes: Ongoing training and service-specific coaching Direct access to industry experts and clinical leads Oversight from dedicated supervisors A Briotix Executive Leadership Sponsor who provides regular program reviews and executive-level support We also conduct quarterly internal audits to ensure continuous improvement. This strategic partnership model helps us maintain top-tier service, protect employee well-being, and exceed client expectations. 7. What does a typical day look like for an Industrial Sports Medicine Professional? Our ISMPs are proactive—not reactive. A typical day may include: Attending pre-shift meetings and supervisor huddles Leading dynamic warm-up routines like PRO Fit Conducting ergonomic assessments and on-the-floor coaching Addressing early signs of discomfort through OSHA-compliant interventions Hosting wellness talks or small group training sessions Wrapping up with end-of-shift check-ins with supervisors and employees This consistent presence creates a safer work environment and fosters employee trust.
