About the Presenters:

Loryn York
Program Manager - Return to Work Services at Briotix Health
Loryn holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Sociology from The University of California, Santa Barbara, an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate from the University of California, San Diego, and is a Certified Ergonomic Evaluation Specialist (CEES). She has more than 15 years' experience in the return to work field, from injury prevention, ergonomics, and return to work and stay at work program development and management, with an additional 10 years' experience in client service and project management. In 2021, Loryn joined Briotix Health, where her strategic approach and organizational skills contribute to Briotix Health's mission of delivering meaningful results in employee health.
Currently serving as the Program Manager of Return to Work Services, Loryn is responsible for overseeing and supporting multiple return to work teams, helping to enhance employee health and safety across various industries. Her key responsibilities include program development, process improvement, managing teams to ensure operational success, as well as client satisfaction, and serving as a subject matter expert for Briotix Health. Loryn is committed to leading teams towards personal and professional growth, and through her leadership, Loryn continues to make a positive impact on return to work outcomes in the workplace.

Mallory Lazell
Project Manager - Graduated Return to Work at Briotix Health
Mallory holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Marshall University and a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from West Virginia University. She is a licensed Physical Therapist with a board certification in Orthopedics from the America Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She holds levels one and two CEAS certifications and has a varied clinical background in general outpatient, orthopedic, sports, geriatric, worker's compensation, acute care, and ergonomics.
She joined the Briotix Health team in 2014 and has held multiple positions within the company over the last 11 years. Her roles have included Accommodations Consulting, onsite injury prevention and ergonomics in the industrial and office environments, and, most recently, Graduated Return to Work planning.
She currently serves as Project Manager over the Graduated Return to Work (GRTW) program which facilitates returning employees to work after injury or personal medical issues. Her key responsibilities include creating and monitoring GRTW plans, training and mentoring new hire employees in the GRTW program, and monitoring the success/development of the program. She also provides client outcomes reporting, assists with growth of the program, and develops/presents GRTW educational materials to clients and cross-functional teams within Briotix.
